Before the Bridge was constructed not many people used to travel to Crimea by car, after the Bridge opening the number of such tourists increased manifold. The Crimean bridge − we can say with confidence − has become one of the most popular attractions in the region.
And since there is demand, then there is supply. Social networking sites and travel agencies of Crimea and the Kuban offer excursions to the Bridge. The plan of the excursion is as follows: those who wish to go for this excursion take a bus on one side, go to the sights on that peninsula − if this is included in the tour − then cross the famous Crimean Bridge to the other shore and visit the sights there. So, they examine the Bridge on the way over it or from the viewpoint on one of the shores. These are the opportunities to see it closer with their own eyes.
Of course, many people want not only to drive over, but to pass it on foot or, at least, to make a stop under the famous arches − to take a photo just to have memory of the event. But this is forbidden: according to the traffic regulations, you can’t stop on the Bridge. However, nothing prevents you to listen to the excursion guide − the length of the Bridge allows you to get quite a lot of information and sights while on the way.
"The automobile part of the Bridge is open to all. Permission is not required for guided tours of the bridge. Stops on the bridge are prohibited" – that was noted to the tourist portal at the Crimean information centre.
And the photos and videos from the windows of the transport are excellent, so you can get the cherished selfie with arches without breaking the law. As for the railway part of the Bridge, the works are still in full swing. Therefore, now you can learn all about the ‘construction of the century’ only on its web site and in the official groups of the Bridge in social networks, as well as from the media.
"The construction site of the railway part of the bridge is the territory for complex technological works. It is not open for excursions" – it was emphasized at the information centre.
However, very soon everyone will be able to see the railway part of the Bridge from a train and evaluate the scale of work done − the opening of train traffic is scheduled for December. So, it is not long to wait.
