The cave accidentally discovered in 2018 by the builders of the Tavrida highway became scientific discovery of world significance. The underground cavern was created by the pressure of artesian waters. Speleologists call the cave the largest in the Crimean foothills.
The Tavrida surprises with a huge amount of unique minerals of biogenic origin and deposits of the bones of rare ancient animals. Among the Crimean caves, it is the most accessible for tourists, including the visitors with disabilities.
