The station opened in 1875 as part of the Lozovaya-Sevastopol railway section. Located in the city centre, it is a stop for trains travelling between Simferopol and Sevastopol. In 2003, the main terminal and all the adjacent Bakhchisarai station buildings underwent major repairs. The station is currently closed.
