Another branch of the trail runs along the steep slope of Mount Oryol. It was cut down there in 1912 by order of Lev Golitsyn for the arrival of Nicholas II.

Then the path goes to Chaliapin's grotto. It is believed that Fyodor Chaliapin, the famous opera bass, performed in it. Prince Golitsyn arranged a wine collection in this grotto. The stone arches in which he kept his champagne can still be seen today.
