The Crimean tourist portal Travel Crimea and the Fly-Star studio have launched Crimea in 3D − a joint project of virtual walks around the peninsula. We invite you to interactively enjoy the views of the popular resorts of the peninsula. Thanks to the 360° format, you can view them in detail. We shall tell you how it works.
Do you want to see Crimea from the top of a skyscraper? To "fly" over its popular and little-known corners? To take a look at the resort streets, majestic mountains and silky forests in good photo quality? Then join us on a 3D tour of the peninsula. We promise: the "journey" will be fascinating!
3D panoramas were created by the Fly-Star team, which is engaged in professional aerial and video filming. The company's equipment includes high-tech copters with high quality aerial photography. Virtual tours are created in 360° format. Such interactive images allow you to show the area around the survey point from all sides. At the same time, the frames are vivid, you can see not only buildings and natural objects, but also transport, people and even animals. Thanks to this, a full-on effect of presence in the filmed place is created.
Today we offer you virtual trips to the popular resorts of Crimea − Yalta, Alushta, Gurzuf, Sudak, Noviy Svet, Koktebel, and Tarkhankut. In the future, we plan to expand the series of 3D tours with other Crimean places.
It is easy to use such panoramas. Each resort is placed in a separate player. And we dedicated a separate article to each of them on the Travel Portal. All of them are available here.
In the upper left corner of the player there is a menu, where you can select the place you want to watch. For example, more than 100 panoramas are available in Yalta − general views of the resort capital of Crimea, the promenade, beaches, the nearest settlements of the municipality, Ai-Petri, etc. Use the mouse to scroll the image, rotate it right, left, up and down, and zoom in and out of attractions.
The control panel is on the right side of the player. There you can scroll through the available panoramas or quickly return to the main 3D view (for this there are corresponding arrows and a "home" button). It is also possible to stretch the player to the full screen of the monitor (the corresponding icon is the second one from the bottom).
