The Tauric Chersonese Museum and Preserve in Sevastopol was included in the media rating of the country's museums for May and June. Lists of the twenty most referred to institutions in the media are compiled by Medialogia every month.
So, in the last month of spring, Chersonesos took 14th place in the rating, and in the first month of summer it rose to 13th place.
The Sevastopol Preserve has repeatedly been among the best museums in the country. For example, in March it was also in the 13th position of the TOP.

Thus, the centuries-old history of the ancient city and objects of cultural heritage on the territory of the museum-reserve: its archaeological monuments, valuable finds and artifacts are becoming more accessible to the general public," noted in Chersonesos.
By the way, the ratings in May and June were headed by the State Hermitage. The three leaders for both months in a row, giving way to each other, also included the Victory Museum and the Tretyakov Gallery.
The list of the best museums is compiled after analyzing more than 61 thousand sources: television and radio programs, newspapers, magazines, news agencies, Internet publications and blogs.
Chersonesos Tauric is located on the territory of the polis, founded by the ancient Greeks in the 5th century BC. It existed until the end of the XIV century. Here you can see the Antique Theater, Zeno's Tower, a bell cast in the 18th century from Turkish trophy cannons, Agora (the central square of Chersonesos), Vladimir Cathedral and other interesting landmarks.
