Experts from the Tvil.ru vacation rental service interviewed users of social networks and found out which mountain routes are the most picturesque in Russia. The most beautiful mountain trails pointed out were those of Crimea.
"According to the survey, the most scenic trekking routes are in Crimea. More than 30% of active travelers walk along the trails of Golitsyn and Botkin, the Chernorechenskiy canyon, Ai-Petri and other tourist trails of the peninsula," analysts said.
In second place are the mountain routes in Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia ― about 29% of users voted for them. The third place in the rating of the most beautiful mountain routes was given to trails in Bashkiria ― they were chosen by 11% of tourists.
