So, all guests are expected on that day at 11:00 a.m. in the Byzantine yard. There everyone can take part in master classes from professional artists. And for children, there will be a lesson on the academic drawing of a natural setting and a lesson on mastering the sketching technique (the technique of quick simple drawings and visual notes). Later, everyone will be able to paint one of the most famous sights of Chersonesos − the Basilica of 1935 as part of the "Watercolor in the Open Air" master class.
On October 18, the cultural program of the festival will be as rich. The organizers will tell photo artists about the peculiarities of landscape photography, a watercolor master class will be held in the Antique Theater, and young artists will be briefed on the secrets of creating a graphic landscape in the Byzantine yard.
"Working on a joint picture is one of the most interesting activities that organizers have invented for children. For two days, October 17 and 18, each child will be able to contribute to the creation of a common masterpiece, which will later take its deserved place in the exhibition. Children will create a joint panoramic drawing of the architectural image of the ancient town in the video lecture hall within the framework of the action "Drawing together our common polis of Chersonesos", — the speaker for the Museum and Preserve specifies.
In addition, within the framework of the festival, there will be an art competition for children from 6 to 16 years old. And on October 24 an exhibition of works by young contestants will open.
Summing up the festival and awarding the participants will be on November 3 as part of the "Night of the Arts" All-Russian action.
