The Grand opening took place on the 21st of June, it was attended by the head of the Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, Minister of resorts and tourism of Crimea Vadim Volchenko, head of administration of Yalta Alexei Chelpanov, as well as citizens and tourists of Yalta.

As Vladimir Konstantinov stressed, the coastal area has changed and is now a model example of how all the embankments of the Peninsula should look like. In addition, the Minister of resorts and tourism of Crimea Vadim Volchenko added that after the reconstruction of the seaside beach promenade has changed the appearance of Yalta as a whole.

"The visual space of the city has been expanded in a fundamentally new way, the walking part has been significantly increased, new public and business areas have been created, and not a single meter of the beach has been lost. This project was fully implemented by investors, the volume of investments amounted to 420 million rubles, said the head of the administration of Yalta Alexei Chelpanov. During the reconstruction, large-scale works were carried out to strengthen the retaining wall, was created a modern video surveillance system, was made a new lighting, was recreated a new three-level embankment, and were repaired the access roads.

According to one of the investors of the project Alexei Grintsevich, the reconstruction was implemented based on the desire to give the seaside beach promenade a modern, comfortable look.

As a part of the Grand opening, were held the performances of the Yalta Music Theater and creative teams of the Crimea, entertainment programs were organized for young guests with the participation of animators in the costumes of fairy-tale characters, circus acrobats, flybord show. The celebration continued with a concert of the popular Russian pop artist Soso Pavliashvili, and the event ended with fireworks and a dance program.
