With the onset of the holiday season, law enforcement officers began patrolling the region and providing assistance to foreign tourists on its territory, it was mentioned in the press service of the administration of Yalta.
The main task of the "tourist unit" is to patrol the places of mass stay of tourists and foreign guests and provide them with comprehensive assistance. The platoon is formed at a separate company of patrol police of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Yalta. To distinguish these law enforcement officers is simple – you can see sleeve patches on their uniform in Russian and English languages.

"At the moment, absolutely all employees of the Department can communicate with foreign tourists. The basic language is English. Many also speak German and French. Employees do not forget to improve their knowledge of the sights of the Crimea, so they can easily explain to any guest who applied, where is this or that place necessary for him," the city administration said.
