The lighthouse is located 3.3 kilometers from the village. The 38-meter construction was built of white Inkerman limestone in 1816.

The lighthouse is located on the westmost point of Crimea - Cape Tarkhankut. The most convenient way to it goes from Chernomorskoyeh town via the village of Olenevka.
