A 12-hectare informal park, a landscape architecture landmark, Gurzuf Park was established in 1803 by order of the Duke of Richelieu. In 1820, Alexander Pushkin stayed with the Rayevsky family at the mansion on the estate. The subsequent owners turned the property into a fashionable resort with a luxurious park, sculptures and fountains. More than 110 species and ornamental forms of trees and shrubs grow here.
Today the park is part of the Gurzufsky health resort grounds.
