This landscape architecture landmark, featuring both formal and informal landscape design, is located on the grounds of the Kharaks Palace on Cape Ai-Todor at an altitude ranging from 40 m to 60 m above sea level. Built in the second half of the 19th century, the park covers 17.5 hectares and is home to more than 200 species of trees and shrubs. The age of many trees ranges from 400 to 1,000 years. The park was named after the ancient Roman fortress Charax.
