Mount Ai-Petri extends along the Black Sea coast. The name translates from Greek as "St Peter". The highest peak is 1,234 m above sea level. There are plenty of tourist attractions on the Ai-Petri slopes, including the Three-Eyed Cave, as well as Geofizicheskaya and Yaltinskaya caves. In winter, downhill ski courses and ski tows are available for Alpine skiers and snowboarders. You can get to the plateau by car from the village of Sokolinoye in the Bakhchisarai District or by a cableway from Miskhor in Greater Yalta.
