The waterfall is located in the Bakhchisarai District, about 550 m above sea level and 4.5 km south of the Sokolinoye village, in the Small Canyon. The waterfall used to be very picturesque, with a large mop of moss covering a cliff and sprays falling down towards a grotto underneath. The water looked silvery in hot summer days. At the beginning of 2016, a massive tuff boulder that was part of the waterfall collapsed due to rapid changes in temperature, and the waterfall lost its original appearance.
