This natural landmark in the Bakhchisarai District of Crimea is located 2.5 km from the village of Skalistoye. Covering an area of 2.1 ha, Bakla Cave City is an ancient site protected by the state. The cave city has two levels: there were defences on the first level, and people lived on the second. The majority of rooms were cut out of the rock, but there was also a small castle, a city wall and additional defences in the city.
