The Red Caves are also known as Kizil-Koba. This large underground system has intricate labyrinths inside. Its explored area length spans to about 25 km, covering an area of 64,000 square metres. The altitude difference is 275 metres. Some caves are almost 80 m long and 145 m high. This is the source of the underground river Kizilkobinka, which turns into a picturesque Su-Uchkhan Waterfall when it comes to the surface. It is located on the spurs of Dolgorukovskaya Yaila, 3 km away from the village of Perevalnoye. It is an archeological landmark.
