In the cozy southern coastal town of Gurzuf, a modest monument to a cat appeared. The graceful animal is of the natural size. The sculpture was installed close to the entrance to Chekhov's cottage. The author of it is a guest from Belarus and his creation is a gift to the town. The name for the cat was chosen by local residents. And now this whiskered pet bears the name of Penelope.
