This amazing structure is at an altitude of 865 meters above sea level a little above the Ai-Petri plateau. It was built in 1894 in honor of the builders of the road connecting Yalta and Bakhchisaray.
In fact, the Silver Arbor is a rotunda in shape − it has no roof, only stone columns painted white. The building gets its famous silver tint in winter time, when it is wrapped in sparkling hoar-frost or snow.
It is located literally above the cliff. The Silver Arbor offers a breathtaking view of the Crimean mountains, endless forests and the South Coast.
