The museum occupies the premises of the former Terdzhiman Printing House, where Ismail-bei Gasprinsky worked. Ismail-bei Gasprinsky was a Crimean Tatar spiritual leader, writer, teacher and cultural, public and political figure. The memorial house is part of the Bakhchisarai Historical and Cultural Reserve. Exhibits include items associated with Ismail-bei Gasprinsky, his photos, books, documents and awards. In 1999, the house received local historical landmark status.
