Alexander Grin Memorial Museum House

Writer, mystic and romanticist Alexander Grin spent his last years in this house. In Stary Krym, he completed his autobiographic essays and began his novel Touch Me Not, which was left unfinished because the author fell seriously ill and soon passed away. A figurine of She Who Runs on the Waves stands near his gravestone in the city cemetery. The museum opened largely through his widow's efforts and has been part of the Voloshin Cimmeria Museum Reserve since 2001.
