The Ethnographic Museum was founded in 1992. Its collection has about 13,000 items and includes pieces of art and everyday objects created by Crimean peoples. Various exhibitions are held monthly. The museum also holds lectures on ethnography, world religions, local history and aesthetics for school and university students, as well as discussion clubs on interethnic relations and tolerance. The museum building is an architectural landmark.
