The grand opening will take place on the second day of the festival. The directors called this event 'The City of Gold'. "Using the most modern stage techniques, with the help of sound, light, laser beams, 3D images, installations, vocal and choreographic compositions, the authors of the ceremony decided to cover the whole circle of times − from the appearance of life on planet Earth and the foundation of the "golden city" of Panticapaeum, through its centuries-long history to the present day," the press service of the East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum and Reserve reported.

One of the innovations of the festival will be the revival of the sports page. During the opening of the Small Olympic Games, athletics events − running, competitions in wrestling and other disciplines − are planned.

In addition, guests of the holiday will get acquainted with the Emporium − an interactive Greek estate. There will be master classes in ancient crafts, pottery and jewelry, tasting of cheeses, bread and wine prepared according to old recipes. There will also be films showing and meetings with producer Vladimir Yesinov and actor Maxim Linnikov. At the same time, the museum page will 'take' viewers to the distant Urals, giving them the opportunity to get acquainted with the treasures of the stone-cutting and jewelry art of its artisans. The ensemble of musicians from the Sverdlovsk region, the Tavria Crimean ensemble and the Sevastopol Symphony Orchestra will please the inhabitants and guests of Kerch with music. And the 'On the Wings of the Gryphon' literary competition will again bring together poets and prose writers − both masters and novice authors.

The theatrical page remains the headline of each festival day. The creative competition will be held at the foot of Mount Mithridates in Prytane. Actors from Crimea, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Ossetia, Abkhazia, Kalmykia, Dagestan and the Ural region will perform before the audience.

"Their work will be evaluated by the stars of the Russian theater and cinema, actors, screenwriters, directors. Most of them will be seen and heard by Kerch residents on June 12 at the Lenin square in a large concert program dedicated to the Day of Russia. On the same day, a social and patriotic action "Thank you for your loyalty, descendants!" will take place, dedicated to the opening of the bust of Vasily Semyónovich Lanovóy, an honorary citizen of the Hero City of Kerch. It is expected that the People's Artist of Russia Irina Kúpchenko will take part in the solemn ceremony," the press service said.
