The festival program includes various master classes, plein-airs, creative workshops for children and more. As part of the event, the Calypso cultural and educational project, developed within the framework of the Sculptor Erzya and the whole World international cultural program (dedicated to the 145th anniversary of artist Stepan Erzya), will be presented in Chersonesos. At the same time, a copy of the Calypso sculpture will be donated and the Point of Return film about the master will be shown.

October 9

  • 12:00-02:00 p.m.: Calypso mini-conference, donation of a Calypso sculpture copy by S.D. Erzya, presentation of the ‘Erzya. Calypso. New Classics’ project, the presentation of letters of thanks, The Point of Return film about the master. Venue: tent in the Garden of Miniatures.
  • 02:00-06:00 p.m.: the Beautiful Calypso photo zone. Venue: Basilica of 1935.

October 10th

  • 12:00-01:30 p.m.: grand opening of the festival, presentation of master classes, opening of plein-airs, exhibition of artists' works. Venue: tent in the Garden of Miniatures.
  • 01:00 p.m.: master class on drawing with gel pens for children and adults (organized by the S.D. Erzya International Art Foundation). Venue: tent in the Garden of Miniatures.
  • 01:00 p.m.: Creative Workshop Under the Ancient Winds, master class on still life (tutor S. Grishchenko). Venue: Byzantine Yard.

October 11-15

  • 10:00 a.m.-05:00 p.m.: artistic plein-air on painting in the style of realism and abstraction, with the participation of invited artists as tutors (S. Berlov, E. Limonova, S. Grishchenko). Venue: the archaeological site of Chersonesos.
