The 14-metre-high waterfall is located near the village of Peredovoye in the Baidar Valley of the Kobalar-Su River (translates as "river flowing in a cave"). There are three more waterfalls up the stream, which are called Fatma, Kudryavy or Skolzky and Ryzhy. Kozyryok Waterfall derives its name from a small canopy-shaped tuff overhang, which was destroyed in 2009. There are comfortable observation decks for visitors near the waterfall, as well as summerhouses and places to rest. Road signs have been put up to show the way to the waterfall.
